Rihanna Designs for River Island

Rihanna has finally debuted her first ever collection for River Island.  Check out my earlier post about this here. 

The pieces in Rihanna's collection are versatile and are illustrative of her own style evolution.  There is something for everyone here.  Rihanna took advantage of the hot color trends for spring and summer 2013 by using a lot of black and white in her collection.  The types of pieces you can expect to find as a part of this collection include elegant maxi dresses, dip-hemmed shirts and digital print separates.

Although the line has been receiving mixed reviews, I personally like it.  I think its young, fresh, sexy and I think it is reflective of Rihanna's personal style.  Take a look at some of the collections' pieces and decide for yourself.
