African Fashion Week London 2012: Day Two Recap

Today was the final day for African designers to bring their style visions to life at the African Fashion Week London 2012.  The designers showcased today included: Remi Lagos, Brigitten Merki, Kiki Clothing, Berry's Couture, House of Farrah, George Adesegun, Joansu, House Of Tayo, House of Bunor and MMD Design.  The clothes that came to life on the runway were powerful, full of color and certainly made a lasting impression.  Take a look...

Although I didn't attend the event in London this weekend, thanks to the miracle of technology, I feel as though I was there.  It is beautiful to see African and Western cultures come together and create such a lovely celebration of unity.  I sincerely wish Canada had a similar event...hopefully soon.
